What is One Forty-Five?
The name comes from Psalm 145:4 — “One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.” That verse is the heartbeat of everything we do in IPHC Kids Ministry. It is why we gather. It is why we train. It is why we refuse to do this work alone.
One Forty-Five is built on a conviction: the health of a children’s ministry rises and falls on the health of its leaders. A volunteer who feels equipped leads differently. A children’s pastor who is connected to a community of peers perseveres differently. A bi-vocational leader who has been trained, encouraged, and developed reaches further than they ever thought possible.
One Forty-Five brings together everything IPHC Kids Ministry does to invest in the people who lead. Trainings, a podcast, the Huddle gathering event, ministry coaching resources, and pathways for ongoing development. All of it exists to help you become the kind of leader who can faithfully declare God’s mighty acts to the next generation.

Practical, accessible training designed for children’s ministry leaders at every stage, from brand-new volunteers stepping into a classroom for the first time to experienced children’s pastors looking to sharpen their craft. Training content covers the full spectrum of ministry leadership: child safety and classroom management, volunteer recruitment and retention, ministry structure and organizational design, teaching and discipleship methods, and the deep cross-generational philosophy that drives the IPHC Kids vision. Trainings are available online and in-person, ensuring that geography and budget are never a barrier to growth.
The IPHC Kids Podcast
Conversations that equip, inspire, and connect. The IPHC Kids Ministry podcast brings together practitioners, thinkers, and leaders from across the IPHC to talk honestly about the work of children’s ministry; what’s working, what’s hard, and what it looks like to give every child every opportunity to know Jesus in the church you actually lead. Whether you’re driving to church, prepping for a Sunday, or trying to stay encouraged on a hard week, this podcast is a voice in your corner.
The Huddle
Once a year, kids ministry leaders from across the IPHC gather and something happens that can’t be replicated in a training video or a podcast episode. The Huddle is our annual gathering event for IPHC Kids Ministry leaders: a space to be trained, to worship, to meet peers from across the denomination, and to remember why this work matters. For many leaders, Huddle is the moment that resets their vision, fills their tank, and sends them home with the courage to keep going. You’re not doing this alone. The Huddle is the proof.

The children’s ministry landscape is full of resources for kids. There are far fewer resources specifically for the leaders of those kids. One Forty-Five exists to close that gap in the IPHC.
This is our why.
We believe that when you invest in a children’s ministry leader, when you train them, develop them, connect them to a community of peers, and give them language for what they’re doing and why, the effect multiplies. That leader goes back to their church and leads differently. The volunteers they oversee serve differently. The kids in their ministry experience something different. And the families of those kids are supported in ways they never were before.
